The Essentials for Nonprofit Administration will meet the first Wednesday of each month beginning September 2 and ending May 5, 2010 (with the exception of October 6, which is on a Tuesday).
Classes will be held in Alexandria and Fergus Falls on a rotating basis. Classes will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 4 p.m.
This training is being conducted in sponsorship with Minnesota State University, Moorhead and is only offered every other year.
Essentials for Nonprofit Administration training is designed to address today’s critical issues that nonprofit organizations face daily.
Participants of the program will experience an interactive, experiential learning of the program focus areas.
In addition, there will be opportunities for networking with other nonprofit professionals and to learn practical application techniques.
Each month a different topic is covered including nonprofit governance, fund raising, human resource administration, financial management, marketing programs and services, strategic planning, program development, legal issues and leadership.
Scholarships of $100 are available for those organizations/individuals in need of assistance.
Who should attend? Presidents, executives, employees and leaders of nonprofit organizations are the targeted audience for this leadership training.
Participants will attend all nine sessions to successfully complete the program.
