The Alexandria Area Economic Development Commission (AAEDC) provides a simple and cost-free resource for marketing commercial land and buildings from throughout Douglas County on a pair of property databases called MNPRO and LocationOne.
Currently, more than 100 buildings and 450 acres of land are listed on these databases.
Buildings listed include both for-sale and for-lease options and offer retail, office, manufacturing, and large commercial storage space.
The listing and marketing of these properties is completely free of charge, and is focused entirely on connecting property owners/agents with potential companies and tenants to strengthen the overall economy of this area.
MNPRO offers commercial listings and community profile data from the state of Minnesota.
The property profiles include information about the building/land size, characteristics, utility infrastructure, transportation, a picture and other pertinent data.
The community profiles cover city-based infrastructure data and other facts to assist businesses with making location decisions. Profiles correlate with cities’ promotional plans for business development.
LocationOne offers commercial property listings along with city and county overview data. The property listings includes very specific detailed information about the building/
land size, total square feet, number of stories, ceiling peak, subdivision options, overhead crane, city water, city sewer, along with multiple images.
Information included has been identified by business site selectors as very important in the location selection process, according to the AAEDC.
LocationOne and MNPRO act as supplemental databases to the traditional MLS/Realtor system for “for sale” properties and are not meant to replace this service.
Property information on these databases has led to the sale or lease of a number of buildings and sites within Douglas County. Using both LocationOne and MNPRO are completely free of charge; contact the Alexandria Area Economic Development Commission to get started.
If you’re a business looking for the perfect location to expand or relocate or a property owner or agent wishing to lease or sell commercial real estate, LocationOne and MNPRO can serve as excellent resource tools, the AAEDC noted. They provide the ability to search for properties based upon your specifications, and to gather key community information.
The AAEDC can assist in finding property information to help you make the right decision for your business relocation or expansion project and can list commercial properties from throughout Douglas County on LocationOne and MNPRO for you at no cost.
