Diane Barnard of Kentucky, North Dakota and most recently of Alexandria, and Mark Lehn of Brandon announce their engagement.
Diane is the daughter of Dr. Reverend L. Wayne Barnard and Mercedes Barnard of Canton, Ohio and a close family friend of Ron and Joyce Watson of Glenwood. She graduated from Red River High School in Grand Forks, North Dakota and obtained a bachelor of arts and sciences degree in sociology from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. She is currently a paraprofessional for School District 206 and a personal care attendant for AccuraCare.
Mark is the son of Clarence and Theresa Lehn of Brandon. He graduated from Brandon High School and attended St. John’s University, earning a bachelor of science degree in psychology and business. He later attended Alexandria Technical College, earning an associate’s degree in computer/voice networking and computer technical support. Mark is a computer technical support specialist/network technician at Douglas Machine in Alexandria.
An August 8, 2009 wedding is planned at Evangelical Covenant Church in Alexandria, with a reception and a dance following at the Alexandria VFW.
