Despite the drizzling rain Friday evening, about 350 participants took part in this year’s Douglas County Relay for Life event.
Despite the drizzling rain Friday evening, about 350 participants took part in this year’s Douglas County Relay for Life event. The American Cancer Society’s fundraiser took place at Citizen’s Field at Jefferson High School in Alexandria. About 44 teams participated, raising more than $84,000, according to the Relay for Life website.
