Predatory sex offender arrested in Verndale

A predatory sex offender who had failed to register his whereabouts was arrested in Wadena County Tuesday morning.

A predatory sex offender who had failed to register his whereabouts was arrested Tuesday morning.

According to Wadena County Sheriff Mike Carr, Thomas Wayne Bowen, 31, was arrested without incident at 106 Farwell Street North near Verndale.

Bowen had active warrants out of Pine County, Chisago County and Wadena County for failure to register as a predatory sex offender, Carr said. A warrant was issued out of Wadena County on June 1 for Bowen and he was charged with violating the predatory offender registration procedure.
