Seven lakeside gardens, all around Lake Osakis, are featured this year in the “Flower Pots and Garden Stops” tour on Saturday, July 11.

The exact garden sites will be announced and maps available at the start of the tour at Just Like Grandma’s Tea Room, 113 West Main Street in Osakis beginning at 11 a.m.

A luncheon at the tea room is included in the ticket price.

Maps and booklets can be picked up from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Gardens will be open until 4 p.m.

Master gardeners will be available at all the garden sites to answer questions and give advice.

Tickets are $15 and include the lunch, a gift and all the garden tours. A portion of the ticket cost, $10, is tax deductible.

This event benefits the Quilts Along the Trail show, which will be held September 12. The non-profit organization recently opened a quilt museum and store at Second and Main Streets in Osakis. That facility is open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. For more information call (320) 859-3618.
