The Douglas County American Dairy Association presented lunch on the farm at the Bill Dropik residence in Nelson on Saturday, June 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Douglas County American Dairy Association presented lunch on the farm at the Bill Dropik residence in Nelson on Saturday, June 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event included free cheeseburgers and malts, a petting zoo, hay rides, face painting, a clown, tractors and tours of the farm. Above left: Hundreds of people from the community visited the free event at the Dropik farm. Above right: As part of the farm tour, two youngsters climbed a fence to get a peek at some of the Dropiks’ cows. Attendees were also able to walk through the barns.
