The Alexandria 13AA Beetles won their second tournament of the year with an impressive run through the Mankato tourney May 29-31. The team went 2-1 in pool play, and was seeded eighth in bracket play. They won all three games in the championship run, defeating top seed Brooklyn Area 17-4, then avenging a pool play loss to Mason City, Iowa with a 15-5 win, and finished with a come-from-behind win over second seeded St. Anthony 5-3.
