The Evansville Arts Coalition has rescheduled its concert featuring Mike Garner, an Alexandria musician.

The concert, which was scheduled for June 26, is now set for Friday, July 10. It will take place from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Evansville Art Center.

This will be a free-will offering event. Refreshments will be served.

Garner likes to play acoustic blues and rock and bluegrass music. He has been playing guitar for more than 30 years and has played slide guitar for about 20 years.

He also likes to delve into bluegrass on his mandolin and will even slip in some harmonica music once in awhile, typically if he is doing some Neil Young or other blues music.

Garner regularly participates in the Evansville Arts Coalition Open Mic night, which is held the third Thursday of each month at the Evansville Art Center.

In case of inclement weather, the concert will take place at the Evansville Covenant Church. This will be a free-will offering concert.
