Driver safety classes offered for ages 50-plus
The American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) Driver Safety Program will offer classes at the Alexandria Senior Center.
The American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) Driver Safety Program, the nation’s largest classroom refresher for motorists age 50 and older, will offer the following classes at the Alexandria Senior Center:
• Eight-hour classes – Tuesday and Thursday, July 14 and 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; and Thursdays, August 6 and 13 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.
• Four-hour refresher courses – Saturday, August 22, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; Tuesdays, June 23, July 7 and August 11, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: and Thursdays, June 25 and July 23 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.
