Brett Swedberg, a former All-American from St. Cloud State, made two eagles on Sunday, at the 470-yard, par-5 fourth hole and the 476-yard, par-5 sixth, which helped him shoot 68 – and it also helped his team – Swedberg, Ryan Steensland, Bob Neitzke and Gregory Wittnebel – finish first, at minus 73 during the Tapemark Charity Pro-Am at the Southview Country Club in West St. Paul.
The 68 brought Swedberg’s total to 205 and tied him with Rod Cook (65-70-70) and Chris Bailey (68-68-69), all finishing 8th.
Jeff Sorenson of Champlin Park was the individual winner with a 197, 16-under-par.
