Both Alexandria Red and Green VFW teams will once again host the Alexandria VFW Baseball Tournament this weekend. Alexandria Red, Delano and Fergus Falls will make up Pool A, while Alex Green, Cold Spring and Maple Grove round out Pool B in the tournament.
The tournament will be played at Knute Nelson Field. Alexandria Green will open up play on Saturday with a 9 a.m. contest against Cold Spring. Alexandria Red follows that game with their first game against Fergus Falls.
The first, second and third-place games will be played on Sunday, starting at 10 a.m. The championship game is set for 3 p.m.
VFW TOURNAMENT
The Red and Green VFW teams will host a tournament tomorrow, Saturday, and Sunday at Knute Nelson Memorial Stadium
The Green team plays at 9 a.m. Saturday against Cold Spring
The Red team follows that game by playing Fergus Falls
First, second and third place games will be played on Sunday, beginning at 10 a.m. with the championship at 3 p.m.
