Freddie Dean and the Country Gentlemen band is what started Freddie’s long-time career in country music.

Jim “Thumper” Lunemann, drums, began playing bass guitar with Freddie Dean and later switched to the drums. He has performed with a number of different bands in the area and now plays drums for the Whiplash Band. He also fills in for other groups when in need of a drummer.
