Maurices celebrates remodeled store

Maurices is celebrating its newly-remodeled, young women’s fashion retail store at the Viking Plaza at 3015 Highway 29 South in Alexandria.

The remodel consisted of new fitting rooms, colors, wall covering, carpet, tile and wood fixtures and signing. In addition, Maurices is also offering an expanded range of sizes from 1-24.

The celebration began with a Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, June 5 at 9 a.m. and a chance to win one of two $50 shopping sprees through June 21.

Store manager Angie Halverson invites everyone to stop by the store to see the new look and see the outstanding fashions.

“We’re so excited about the new look because we fill a unique niche for young women in this community,” said Halverson.
