A Memorial Day parade and service in Alexandria paid tribute to soldiers who provided the ultimate sacrifice for their country.

A Memorial Day parade and service in Alexandria paid tribute to soldiers who provided the ultimate sacrifice for their country. Tom Hargreaves, sergeant at arms for American Legion Post 87, held a salute during the ceremony at Kinkead Cemetery. The theme of this year’s program was “For God and Country.” Grand marshal was Arlene Bosek and Sergeant First Class Luke A. Grim was guest speaker.
