Former Alexandria baseball standout Tyler Erickson continues to establish himself at the college level.
Erickson was named second team All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference recently after a strong season with the University of Minnesota-Duluth.
Erickson was the everyday shortstop for head coach Bob Rients this season. He was one of only two players to start all 52 games for the Bulldogs. He led the team with 182 at-bats and hit .330 in the process. His 18 stolen bases were third best in the NSIC and tops on the team. He also pounded out four triples, good for third in conference play.
