Teather day camp open to area youth

Registrations are being accepted for the 23rd annual Prairie Fire Children’s Theatre day camp. Participants can join a professional staff as they cast and produce the musical adaptation of Sleeping Beauty.

The camp will be held Wednesday through Friday, July 29-31 and Monday through Thursday, August 3-6 from noon to 5 p.m. Four performances are set for August 6-9. The camps and performances will be held at West Central Area Secondary School in Barrett.

Registration is open to anyone ages 7 to 18 on a first-come, first-served basis. Early registration is encouraged. Every registrant is guaranteed a part in the play and will participate in a workshop schedule. The theme this year is “making movies.”
