Rollover near Millerville injures driver

A rollover just south of Millerville Wednesday resulted in serious injuries.

A rollover just south of Millerville Wednesday resulted in serious injuries. William Anton Rotz, 86, was driving a car on County Road 7 south of the intersection with County Road 5 at about 3:20 p.m. when he lost control of the vehicle and it rolled in the ditch. The Millerville Fire Department was called to extricate Rotz, the only one in the car. He was transported by North Ambulance to the Douglas County Hospital and later transferred to Hennepin County Medical Center. He was listed in serious condition Thursday morning. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the scene.
