Leland medalist at Long Prairie

Maggie Leland shot a 77 to capture medalist honors and held the Cardinals take the team title at the Long Prairie Invitational Friday.

Alexandria finished with a 14-stroke victory over second place Buffalo.

Card tennis team wins

Alexandria swept the singles division to defeat Willmar 5-2 in Central Lakes Conference tennis Friday.

All of the wins came in straight sets.

Boys golf to first

Senior Mike Sahli’s 73 was good for a tie for medalist honors as the Cardinal boys’ golf team won their Central Lakes Conference meet at Sauk Rapids by one stroke.

It was Sahli’s best score ever in a varsity meet.

The Cards hold a six point lead in the conference standings.
