To the editor:

This morning I buried another pet cat. This time it was my grandson’s pet cat, Daisy. This was number four.

I have lived on Latoka Drive – County Road 90 for 21 years. The speed limit is 30 miles per hour, however, the speed of the drivers has only increased. Most go 50-60 miles per hour. And now that summer is upon us, we can add speeding motorcycles.

There are walkers, bicyclists, parents with children in strollers, etc. Many on their way to Latoka Beach. When will one of them get hit?

I do not understand why there is such speed. The race track is only one-half mile away – use that. What is it going to take to slow these folks down?
