Northland Tour on tap for Runestone Raceway

Echo Press file photo Tanner Bitzan (42) was one of the competitors at the Runestone Raceway last season. The raceway will host a test and tune tonight, Friday, beginning at 6 p.m. and the Northland Tour I.K.F. Region 3 Series on Saturday and Sunday.

The Runestone Go-Kart Association will host the Northland Tour I.K.F. Region 3 Series race on Saturday and Sunday, May 9-10 at the Runestone Raceway on the Douglas County Fairgrounds.

Between 75 and 100 karts will be on hand from South Dakota, Iowa, Wisconsin and Minnesota.

The tour is free to spectators.

Runestone test and tune

The Runestone Go-Kart Association will hold a test and tune on Friday, May 8 at the Runestone Raceway on the Douglas County Fairgrounds.

Check-in is at 5 p.m. with practice beginning at 6 p.m.
