The 2009 West Central Minnesota Wage and Benefit Survey is currently under way, and businesses are strongly encouraged to participate.
If your company has anywhere from one to 1,000 employees and you wonder if your pay ranges are competitive with other companies in the area, then this is the opportunity for you to find out.
Participation in the 2009 Wage and Benefit Survey is free and all submitted information will be kept completely confidential; only aggregate data will be released in the final report to survey participants. All that your business needs to do to receive a copy of the final report in July is complete and submit the wage and benefit survey sections by May 29.
To participate in the 2009 Wage and Benefit Survey, go to www.wcmnshrm.org or www.alexmn.org (Events and Seminars) and download both the wage and benefits portions of the survey. Specific instructions for completion are included on both sites.
The staff of Alexandria Area Economic Development Commission (AAEDC) is collecting and compiling all Wage and Benefit Survey information and will be keeping all company information completely confidential.
If you have specific questions about participation, information submission, confidentiality, or the tabulation process of the 2009 Wage and Benefit Survey, contact Patrick Kalina at the AAEDC by calling (320) 763-4545 or e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Wage and Benefit Survey is conducted annually by the West Central Minnesota Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), with the goal of compiling local wage and benefit statistics to provide accurate benefit information to participating businesses in this area.
