Dave Ramsey, nationally syndicated radio talk show host and New York Times best-selling author, will host a nationally televised town hall meeting to help people discover what’s happening with the economy, how we got here, and where we’re going.

The meeting, titled Town Hall for Hope, will take place on Thursday, April 23 at 7 p.m.

Ramsey will be hosting this meeting live from LifeChurch in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and it will be broadcast to more than 3,000 locations across the country for the public to attend free of charge.

Town Hall for Hope will be broadcast live in Alexandria at two locations (this is an update from a previous story):

• Zion Lutheran Church at 300 Lake Street; contact Reverend David Hinz at (320) 763-4842 or dhinz@zionalex.org for more information or to register.

• Church for the Harvest, located at 1910 Aga Drive, Suite 280; contact Angie Goergen at (320) 759-1400 or angie@cfthonline.com.

“The solution to America’s economy is to get people to believe again. It’s time to connect with families to instill hope and optimism in our economy and our country. We the people are the healing agents,” comments Ramsey.

Ramsey will be covering the economy, your money, and the answers to many people’s questions. In addition, he will separate the truths from the myths about the stock market and economy, and explain how the nation will recover from this economic situation stronger than before.

Throughout the meeting, Ramsey will be taking questions live from viewers across the country by phone, e-mail, Twitter, Facebook and more.
