Evansville Arts Coalition seeks poets

The Evansville Arts Coalition is looking for area poets to participate in the 12th annual Poetry Night.

The event has been scheduled for Thursday, April 23 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Evansville Art Center in downtown Evansville.

Organizers say this event is the longest-running literary event of its kind in West Central Minnesota.

Those interested in participating can feel free to read their favorite poem or recite one of their own original poems.

Everyone is welcome to attend the event – even non-poets; as those reading will want an audience, said organizers.

Pastor Irv Arnquist will be the emcee.
