Guarding of the tomb
Members of Zion Lutheran and Good Shepherd Lutheran Churches in Alexandria will be guarding the Tomb of Jesus.
Members of Zion Lutheran and Good Shepherd Lutheran Churches in Alexandria will be guarding the Tomb of Jesus starting at noon Good Friday, April 10. A contingent of Roman soldiers will guard the tomb through 5 a.m. Easter morning. People are encouraged to drive by 3rd Avenue and Lake Street to view the presentation and are welcome to stop and talk with the soldiers about the message of Easter.
