The event will be held from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 16 in the large meeting room at the Douglas County Library at 720 Fillmore Street in Alexandria.
Priscilla Reineke, chair of the Cookbook Sale, encourages you to donate your used cookbooks and culinary magazines to this event by dropping them off at the library by Wednesday, April 15.
If you are unable to bring your cookbooks and magazines to the library, call (320) 762-1265 to have your donations picked up by a Friends of the Library volunteer.
The mission of the Douglas County Library Friends and Foundation is to support and promote the Douglas County Library.
The Friends of the Library organization pledges to work toward these goals and activities: focus public attention on library services, facilities and needs; stimulate gifts of books, magazines, desirable collections, endowments and bequests; and maintain an association of persons interested in the library.
