Snowmen, snowmen everywhere
March roared out of Douglas County like a lion, dumping a foot or more of snow on some parts of the area Monday and Tuesday.
March roared out of Douglas County like a lion, dumping a foot or more of snow on some parts of the area Monday and Tuesday. Alexandria received about nine inches. Although it clogged driveways and roads, the heavy, wet snow was perfect for snowman building. The Mages family on Green Lane in Alexandria created a towering eight-foot-tall snowman. They included (left to right) Tricia, Brady, Grant and Kyle. Over on 8th Avenue East in Alexandria, Kala Johnson and Andrew Rosenberg made a trio of snowmen.
