Gardonville Cooperative Telephone Association (Gardonville) of Brandon, along with Digital First Communications, Inc. (DFC) of Alexandria, recently completed a management contract.
This contract engages DFC employees to staff and manage Gardonville’s retail store, soon to be opened in Alexandria.
“We and DFI are excited about bringing new products and services like GC Voice Services, GC Internet Services, GC Cellular, GC Netbooks, Dish Network, DIRECTV, satellite radio, satellite Internet, satellite phone service and home theatre products all under one roof,” said Dave Wolf, CEO and general manager of Gardonville.
Wolf added, “Customers will be able to make payments, order services and participate in customer training classes, which will be offered soon.”
Gardonville’s retail space will be located in the Midway Mall near Photo Magic. “DFC’s move into this new location will enable us to better serve our existing and new customers,” said Mel Morse, owner of DFC. “I’m confident the outcome of this arrangement will make each company a stronger player in the Alexandria market space and allow us to offer a broader range of products and services to our customers.”
DFC has been a leading satellite television retailer in the Alexandria area since 1998 and a Gardonville partner since 2006. This collaboration with DFC will help Gardonville continue to grow as it enters its 66th year of operation. Gardonville has been providing advanced telecommunication services in the greater Alexandria area since 1943.
The new retail space is set to open in April at 2715 Highway 29 S, Suite 104, Alexandria.
