BOYS’ BASKETBALL STATISTICAL LEADERS
(CLASS A)
• Senior Kurtis Mickelson of Ashby leads the state in rebounding this season with 360 over 19 games for an average of 18.9 per game. He is also 10th in scoring with 451 points in 19 games for an average of 23.7 per game.
(CLASS AA)
• Minnewaska senior Pierce Peters has scored 450 points in 20 games this season for an average of 22.5. That puts him in 12th place. Mike Felt of Redwood Valley is first with 654 points in 22 games, an average of 29.7 per game.
GIRLS’ BASKETBALL STATISTICS LEADERS
(CLASS A)
• Parkers Prairie junior Sari Noga leads the state in scoring this year, notching 640 points in 22 games for an average of 29.1 per game. She is also sixth in rebounding with 290, an average of 13.2 per game.
• Noga is also 15th on the state’s all-time leading scorer list with 2,696 points.
(CLASS AA)
• Junior Liza Torgerson of West Central Area is 16th in the state in scoring as she poured in 416 points in 22 games, an average of 18.9 per game.
