YMCA, Alex Tech team up to offer exercise classes for children
Health and fitness students from Alexandria Technical College are teaming up with the YMCA to conduct “Kids in Motion” for children in grades K-6.
Health and fitness students from Alexandria Technical College are teaming up with the YMCA to conduct “Kids in Motion” for children in grades K-6.
Participants will experience movement and music, muscles in motion and they’ll learn tasty but nutritious food choices.
There will be stations where kids will learn fun ways to work out and also have a chance to learn a new sport.
Kids in Motion will take place at Washington Elementary School on Monday evenings, March 23, 30, April 6 from 6 to 7 p.m. Cost is $20, which includes a T-shirt.
