Calling for health care reform

Leaders at Bethany Community in Alexandria worked the phones Tuesday to call Senator Amy Klobuchar as part of the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging’s “Congressional Call In Day” to support health care reform.

Leaders at Bethany Community in Alexandria worked the phones Tuesday to call Senator Amy Klobuchar as part of the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging’s “Congressional Call In Day” to support health care reform. Bethany Administrator Carol Kvidt said, “We want to encourage the senator to make long-term care financing reform part of health care reform. We need to have an affordable, well-coordinated health care system that empowers people and promotes wellness. A new way of financing long-term care is essential to that.”
