Osakis’ Andrew Nack has put together quite a career, both on the field and in the classroom for the Silverstreaks, over his four years at Osakis High School.
Nack was recently rewarded for that by being presented the Academic All-State Award for his dedication toward being an accomplished student-athlete during his senior year. The award is given by the Minnesota Football Coaches Association to players who demonstrate outstanding football ability, leadership ability and academic excellence.
Nack finished his Osakis football career this past fall as a two-way starter on the offensive and defensive lines. He was a four-year starter and four-year letter winner for the Silverstreaks during his career.
Nack was also named All-Prairie Conference three years, including being named the Most Valuable Defensive Lineman in the league for his junior season. This past season, he was voted the most dedicated player on his team by his teammates.
Nack was one of just 13 players selected for the Academic All-State Award in Class A.
