Snowboarders face weather, competitors at Faction Challenge
More than 70 competitors from across Minnesota competed in the 6th annual Faction Challenge at Andes Tower Hills last Saturday, despite the frigid temperatures.
Competition took place in 12-under, 13-14, 15-16, women and open classes.
Nick Knoblach of Alexandria won the 13-14-year-old division, while Alexandria’s Nick Hammje won the 15-16-year-old competition.
In the 12-under division, Eddie Fauth of Grand Rapids took top honors, while Betsy Mann of Duluth was the women’s champion and Chase Mastel of Buffalo was the open division champion.
