Letter – The truth must have hurt
The person who wrote me a letter responding to my February 13 letter to the editor [Democrats love to raise taxes] should know that I have helped pay for many new roads.
To the editor:
The person who wrote me a letter responding to my February 13 letter to the editor [Democrats love to raise taxes] should know that I have helped pay for many new roads. The one one-fourth mile from my home was taxed just a few years ago and I drove on that one as gravel for more than 50 years.
Yes, it takes money to build roads, but my experience is you can’t do them all at once.
You told me to keep my opinions to myself, but the dirty, nasty names you called me, you for sure should keep yours to yourself. You’re some coward to write a letter like that and not sign your name. Good luck, anonymous.
