The crowd brayed with laughter during the “Dairyland Donkey Basketball Show” in Alexandria’s Jefferson High School gym Sunday afternoon.
The crowd brayed with laughter during the “Dairyland Donkey Basketball Show” in Alexandria’s Jefferson High School gym Sunday afternoon. Four teams of local celebrities rode donkeys while playing basketball. They also spent considerable time falling off their rides and coaxing their animals to be less stubborn. The event raised $1,800 for students who need financial assistance with marching band costs.
