Eagle Scout earns project award
Josh Haavig of Miltona was presented an outstanding youth project award for his Eagle Scout project.
Josh Haavig of Miltona was presented an outstanding youth project award for his Eagle Scout project.
Haavig’s project consisted of renovating the boathouse at Smokey Timbers Camp with new steel siding, along with re-roofing the structure. Smokey Timbers Camp is located on the north shore of Lake Miltona. He developed a plan, solicited lumberyards for donated materials and organized a work crew to complete the project.
The award was presented by WesMin Resource Conservation and Development Council.
