St. Cloud State University will host the 16th annual Stars of Tomorrow “spring training” clinic for area youths ages 8-18 years old.
The clinics begin the first week of March and run every week up to the start of the high school baseball season for 9-12 graders. A session for eighth graders and younger will be held on March 28, April 4 and April 11.
The cost for the clinic is $150 per player and $100 for additional family members for 9-12 graders. Eighth grade and younger can participate for $90 per person. Team members signing up with 10 or more players can participate for $100.
Kids in grades 9-12 will receive 15 hours of baseball instruction, with eighth graders and younger receiving nine hours of instruction. The camp is about 80 percent hands on drill work and simulated games and 20 percent classroom lecture setting.
Each session is limited to 150 campers. Each one is held at the campus of St. Cloud State University.
