Letter – Democrats love to raise taxes

To the editor:

I now know why the Democrats were so mad at Bush for the tax cuts to the rich Republicans. They want the Republicans to pay the taxes as they don’t pay theirs. Wonder how many more Democrats will be pulled out from under the rug that will have some kind of fraud against them?

Democrats love to raise taxes on others, just like the gas tax. Three-quarters of the state were against it, as was the governor, but they didn’t care, as they can raise their cost of living whenever they want. Yes, Inga Mae Urke [February 6 letter], the Democrats are so concerned about the torture to the terrorists but have never said one word of torture that the victims and families of 9/11 went through and families will live with the rest of their lives.

The Democrats in 2006, if you remember, bragged about getting full control of the House and Senate and they won because of change. Is this the change we got? Inga Mae, I fully agree that abortion is wrong and as humans what is wrong with us to have performed abortions? We should be better than that. Animals are higher up than that.
