Letter – A tireless supporter of life
I would like to thank Jim Korkowski for his letter concerning Christians voting for President Obama.
To the editor:
I would like to thank Jim Korkowski for his letter concerning Christians voting for President Obama. Jim has been a tireless supporter of life for unborn children. He understands that life is infinitely more important than money or material possessions.
I, too, am concerned about the large number of Christians that voted for President Obama. Throughout his campaign the president never hid the fact that he was an extremely strong supporter of abortion on demand for any reason and through all nine months of pregnancy. As a supporter of partial birth abortion, he even voted to deny health care to aborted children who were accidentally born alive. He chose to let the little ones suffer and die – alone. His voting record and speeches as an Illinois State Senator and as a U.S. Senator prove this.
Now we Americans are facing the unleashing of the Freedom of Choice Act. But the sad and disturbing truth is that Barack Obama could never have become president without the support of millions of American Christians. May God have mercy on us.
