A local snowboarder tweaked a “tailgrab,” grabbing onto the tip of his board, while launching off a jump, or “kicker,” at a “Big Air” competition at Andes Tower Hill ski resort, located near Kensington.

The event, which featured both boarders and skiers, was organized by the Frozen Chosen, a newly formed local grassroots snowboarding organization. Sponsors included Andes and The Faction Boardshop, of Alexandria.
