Letter – Noah's Ark is true; proof of Bible's truth

If Noah’s Ark exists today on Mount Ararat as the Bible states, then it certainly is the “smoking gun” that blows away the theory of evolution. It proves that Noah’s flood occurred and destroyed all life on Earth (Genesis 7: 4, 21, 23). Only Noah, his wife, their three sons and their wives, plus all the animals God caused to come into the ark survived.

The Bible states that the flood covered the highest mountain and after seven months moving on the water, the ark then came to rest on a plateau on the mountains of Ararat (Genesis 8: 4). But then it took four more months until dry land appeared and Noah was commended by God to open up the ark so all life could depart. Since then the ark has been sitting on that plateau on the mountains of Ararat, under ice and snow most likely, for thousands of years, undetected.

Then in 1840, an earthquake occurred in the Ararat region, which exposed part of the ark. The news spread around the world and in 1856 three English scientists, who were admitted atheists, decided to go to Turkey and explore for the ark. They found it with the help of locals but then they tried to destroy it with fire. It wouldn’t burn. Probably, the reason is that Noah obeyed the Lord and coated it inside and outside with pitch (Genesis 6: 14). Many others are recorded to have sighted the ark since then, including 150 soldiers from Russia in 1913. American aviators during WWII also sighted it and photographed it.

Noah’s Ark is certainly scientific, archeological, anthropological and historical evidence to prove that the Holy Bible is true and divinely inspired by almighty God.
