Energy assistance still available to qualified applicants
An energy assistance program is available to help qualifying families with energy costs.
An energy assistance program is available to help qualifying families with energy costs.
The average grant is $549. Funding is provided for oil, propane, wood, electric or natural gas costs.
Residents of Pope, Traverse, Clay, Wilkin, Douglas, Grant and Stevens counties may call West Central MN Communities Action at 1-800-492-4805 for an application.
Certain income guidelines must be met. There is no asset limit.
This program is funded by the Minnesota Department of Commerce and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
