Sweetheart ski weekend planned at Luther Crest Bible Camp
Luther Crest Bible Camp in Alexandria is hosting a “Sweetheart Ski Weekend.”
Luther Crest Bible Camp in Alexandria is hosting a “Sweetheart Ski Weekend.”
The event will take place Saturday, February 14 and Sunday, February 15.
Saturday evening will begin at 5 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres followed by a candlelight dinner at 5:30 p.m. with champagne chicken, salad and dinner.
From 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. the trails will be lined with glowing luminaries for a beautiful night of cross-country skiing or a candlelight walk, depending on the snow. Ski equipment is available, but skis, poles and shoe sizes are limited.
The skiing/walk will be followed by an evening devotion, led by Dave and Nicole Holtz from First Lutheran Church in Alexandria.
The evening will conclude with snacks, warm beverages and a romantic movie in the lodge.
There will be a brunch on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Lodging is also available.

The cost for Saturday evening is $45 per couple. The cost for lodging on Saturday night and brunch on Sunday morning is $60.
The deadline for registration is Friday, February 6.
