Greater Alexandria Area Job Fair is February 11

The Lakes Area Business and Employer Council is excited to announce that the 5th annual Greater Alexandria Area Job Fair is coming up on Wednesday, February 11.

This year’s job fair will take place at Alexandria Technical College from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is open to everyone.

More than 30 employers from throughout the region will be participating in the job fair, representing all industries, including manufacturing, service, healthcare, retail, and education. In addition to the opportunity to talk with and distribute resumes to employers from throughout the region, an employer panel on “What Employers Expect from Applicants and New Employees,” will take place from 12-1 p.m. in Room 743 at the college.

This informational session will provide attendees with a stronger understanding of what to expect when applying for and starting a new career as well as give the opportunity for individuals to ask specific questions of panel members.

Parking for job fair attendees will be in the ATC west parking lot (directly across Jefferson Street from the gymnasium).
