Echo Press photo by Arlan Anderson Matt Sarberg helped a 200 medley relay team to a second place finish, then finished second in the individual 100 backstroke during Alexandria’s 93-79 win over St. Cloud Apollo Thursday.

The Cardinals swimming and diving team got back on the right track by beating St. Cloud Apollo last Thursday night 93-79.

Alexandria won 11 of the 12 events, including two wins each from Brian Storhaug (200 Free, 500 Free) and Jeff Allen (200 IM, 100 Fly).

Ben Vogeler, Ben VanKeulen, Jon Schwegel, Dylan Johnson and Aaron Rooney all had first-place finishes, as well.

The win moved the Cardinals to 5-1 in dual meets this season.
