Kickin' it for hunger
Students and staff from both Discovery Middle School and Jefferson High School battled it out Saturday afternoon in “Battling Hunger,” a dodge ball tournament to support the Douglas County Food Shelf.
Students and staff from both Discovery Middle School and Jefferson High School battled it out Saturday afternoon in “Battling Hunger,” a dodge ball tournament to support the Douglas County Food Shelf. The event raised a total of $1,068.70. The winning team, the Sharp Shooters, included members Zach Beireis, Walker Giroux, Ethan Houser, Mitch Tellis, Mark Whiting and AJ DuFresna.
