Winter Dance Club to host event this Sunday

The Winter Dance Club will host a dance this Sunday, January 25 at the Lakeside Ballroom in Glenwood.

The Velvet Brass Band will play ballroom dance music from 3 to 7 p.m. The doors will open at 2 p.m.

An East Coast swing dance lesson will begin at 2:15 p.m. for those interested in learning that dance.

The winter dances are open to the public.

Admission is $10 per person or for a membership into the dance club, the cost is $70 per couple, which includes the six remaining dances.

The Winter Dance Club dances are entirely funded through membership, which pays for the facility rental and the bands that play during the events.
