A big change awaits one of the deadliest intersections in Douglas County – “Carlos Corners.”
An all-way stop will be installed at the intersection this February or March.
Right now, stop signs are in place at the two county roads, 13 and 42, that intersect Highway 29.
The new safety measure – announced today by the Douglas County Safe Communities Coalition – will also stop traffic on Highway 29.
Other safety measures are also planned at the intersection. Read the Echo Press print and online newspapers for follow-up and more information about this story.
