Shane and Shaynen Schmidt, owners of Pro-Tainer, Inc., recently purchased Geneva Products, located in Valley City, North Dakota.

This new acquisition will be added to Pro-Tainer’s present line of recycling trailers and equipment.

Pro-Tainer, Inc. is recognized as a national manufacturer of recycling trailers and equipment selling and marketing to general services administration, department of defense, municipalities and private industry with equipment presently located in all 50 states and several overseas locations.

Geneva Manufacturing, a manufacturer of refuse and recycling equipment, was originally located in Alexandria from 1985 to 1990 and was managed by Shane Schmidt. The company was bought out in 1990 and moved to Valley City.

This past competitor has now been moved to the Pro-Tainer location in Alexandria.

Opening its doors in 1990, Pro-Tainer’s objective was to serve the refuse, disposal and recycling industry with products that are affordable, well-made and versatile.
