Chamber of Commerce plans open house

The Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce will host an open house on Thursday, January 22 and Friday, January 23.

Chamber members are encouraged to stop by to pick up their 2009 chamber directories and plaques. The Chamber will extend their hours from 7:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. to accommodate their members’ busy work schedules.

Also available will be an opportunity for members to review their member listing on the chamber’s Web site. Members may also bring their business brochures to be displayed in the lobby.

Stop by to enjoy cider and cookies and update the Chamber staff on newsworthy information about your business.

The public is also welcome to stop by and check out what is available at the Chamber, including Visitor Guides for Alexandria and other Minnesota vacation destinations as well as information on other activities in the lakes area.

The mission at the Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce is: “To promote the Alexandria Lakes Area as the ultimate destination to live, work, play and prosper through public promotion and member information services.”
